"Absence serves two purposes; it manages employee attendance and it handles Time Banks. By offering a way to graphically perform most tasks, this software reduces to a minimum the time and effort needed to record, monitor and report on employee absenteeism. Absence allows the user to define as many departments, employees and categories of attendance as they need. For each category of attendance defined, the user can provide an annual entitlement which will be the same for all employees or specify each employee's entitlement. Absence controls conflicting absences, makes sure employees don't exceed their entitlements, generates a wide range of reports and automatically transfers key information from one fiscal year to the next. It can also easily be networked and is fully bilingual (English & French). This demo version gives unrestricted access to all the features of the sytem for a period of 5 hours OF USE (not 5 hours from the time of the download). After the 5 hour trial period has expired, Absence will lock itself up and require an activation code which can only be issued when the software is bought."
