“The Filing System is an electronic filing system program that creates, files and archives letters, documents, drawings, photographs, etc. by interacting with MS Word and MS Excel. The Filing System is a program that creates database’s from user input of all types of correspondence, documents, minutes of meetings, (incoming letters, photographs, drawings, receipts, etc if implanted/scanned into a Word or Excel file), etc which can be interrogated for easy access to individual items and for the production of customised reports. Entering an item in the database automatically creates a file, in Word or Excel, using a template provided, altered or designed by the user and installs the information from the database into defined areas of the template. The database is displayed as a List of items. Interacting with MS Word or MS Excel allows the user to produce customised correspondence, documents, reports, etc. for writing or viewing that is linked to these databases/Lists of Items and can be opened by simply double clicking the item. The Filing System requires the presence of either MS Word or MS Excel to work and both to be fully operational.”
