"This package allows to send SMS (short message service) messages to any GSM mobile phone (ie cellular phone) world wide right from your computer. To do this, the software connects to a so-called 'Short Message Service Center' (SMSC) through a standard computer modem and transfers the message to the SMSC using the 'CMG EMI/UCP' protocol which is supported by most EUROPEAN phone companies. All this is done automatically within a few seconds. It features an easy to use SMS Client for Standalone mode (COM-Port) or Client/Server mode (TCP/IP) with many cool phone styles, a SMS Server for Client/Server environments and a OLE-Control (OCX) for your own developments in VB6, VBA, VBS, VC. Even a command for IBM AS/400 midrange systems (64-Bit RISC) is included. This allows to add SMS support in your own Windows or AS/400 applications. The SMS server acts as a SMS gateway for your entire network."
