Mega Hyper Edit is a scratchpad and rich-text editor. The primary function of this program is to maintain a contiguous list of notes that is mounted on a rich-text file. This file is loaded and saved automatically. Mega Hyper Edit is Y2K-compliant, supports long file names, and has customizable fonts, colors, and backgrounds. Additional features include autosave, time-date stamps, and support for international characters. This version adds a Secure Delete function, recordable text macros, and configurable default font settings. Version 3.11 added an expanded selection of international characters, a built-in to-do list and address book, full tray functionality, and the ability to minimize the program and paste to your data file directly from the tray. Version 3.18 adds several new startup options and a command-line launch utility. Version 4.0 features a sleeker interface, improved loading speed, and many corrections and enhancements to general operation of the program.
