"AvidDBLink allows authorised remote users to read/edit your Microsoft Access Database over the Internet securely and quickly using built-in compression and encryption. AvidDBLink has 2 programs: AvidDBServer and AvidDBClient. You run AvidDBServer on the machine that has your Access Database and connect this machine to the internet. Any remote user connected to the internet can then run AvidDBClient which will connect to the AvidDBServer program. A list of all tables and queries on the Access database will be shown in AvidDBClient. The user can directly open any table and query (with paramters as well) and view and edit the data in real time. Data is compressed and encrypted before transmassion between AvidDBClient and AvidDBServer so it is secured and very fast even on a slow modem connection. No setup or configuration is needed. No extra libraries or dll required on both client and server sides."Note: This is a 30-day trial. The query data is read-only and no individual user read or write rights are enforced. Shareware registration is $50.
