Vakcer Project Tracker (VPT) keeps track of running applications and open documents, and automatically records the time spent on each of them. VPT detects more than 200 popular applications for illustration, image editing, Web design, word processing, 3D modeling, and more. It also calculates project costs based on hourly cost rates assigned to each application. Project reports can be viewed and printed with a click of the mouse. It also includes enhancements such as the ability to configure lists easily, an improved program-tracking algorithm, and Autobackup and Autosave project features. This updated version offers full support of COM automation and DLL plug-ins and full documentation for creating plug-ins with Visual Basic. The amount paid can now be specified for a project, password protection has been added for projects, and a master mode for the activity timer has been added, which allows users to track time even when a window is deactivated. There is also an extended list of supported applications (almost 500 are supported). Note: The full version of this program is $39.95. In this demo version, the project will not be tracked if the recorded time exceeds ten hours. This demo is a three-week evaluation period.
