Express Messaging Server is a program that allows two people to communicate from the desktop on one computer to the desktop on another. It also functions as a virtual in/out board, allowing people to see which contacts from their network are available for communication. There are two components to the program: a server and a client. The server program allows for independent support of an Express Communicator on an intranet or private network. This provides for increased security and independence, giving organizations the ability to control their own resources. Version 2.0 features 64-bit encryption of all administrative commands, remote administration support, including the ability to stop, start, and reboot the system, enhanced GUI tree view of servers and directories, and more. Note: Registration costs $300. There is a 60-day trial period.
