"NetStep is a free timer and customer management system for Internet cafes and kiosks. It keeps track of your customers' Net usage accurately and securely, and gathers your business statistics in a private, secure area so you can get an overview of your business. When NetStep downloads, it creates a home page displaying the NetStep brand, personalized for your cafe (you can opt out of this preference). You can also accurately keep track of times and prices, track many customers using different workstations at the same time, see current totals as they are clocked up, and set your own prices to more than one type of customer. The program provides free online statistics and business reports and a free directory listing and personalized NetStep home page.Version 4.5 features a revamped communications interface, ability to run online accounts, numerous bug fixes, and extra features. Version 5.0 features an improved interface, local account controls, enhanced setup procedure, and an automatic home page reset. NsCafe accurately times and charges multiple work stations in internet cafes. It features web based statistics and online customer accounts, PC security, unlimited price tables, and browser reset. 5.16 adds roaming between cafes, listing in the cafe directory at http://ecaf.net, auto pay, price setup fixes, additional help and speed. Version 5.17 - Has nsCafe Chat system to allow cafe managers to talk to each other and for instant support. Staff can no longer access settings via config menu.
