ComServer enables power users to build their own SQL front ends using components. There is nothing to program or to compile. This tool was developed for business database applications and it includes the following standard components: SQL database connections, SQL scripts for data import, export and migration, SQL Master-Detail editor (with wizard), Crystal Reports export/print, and linkage to programmed add-ins ( EXE files). You can also program additional components (DLLs) with C++. You can reuse components--even from other ComServer projects--by copying and editing them. ComServer is useful for power users who do data-mining, developers who make database applications, and companies who want to have adaptable standard and specialized applications from components. ComServer supports the requirements of the Desktop Application Specification for Microsoft Windows 2000, and is qualified to use the Certified for Microsoft Windows - Windows 2000 Professional logo.
