PingGauge is an Internet watchdog that can monitor the Internet connection. When the Internet connection is broken, PingGauge will show a warning message on the screen and/or give an audio warning at the time of the Internet connection is broken and/or log all events into a log file. Also if the user gives a list of telephone numbers, PingGauge will dial these telephone numbers in order to inform the network administrator(s) that the Internet connection is broken.
