PaperCut is a print and Internet charging & quota system for Windows networks. Initially developed for use in schools to minimize waste, it now has applications within business where there is a need to track costs for clients or projects, or to simply audit printer and Internet bandwidth use. PaperCut installs on Windows NT/2000/XP servers. Features include automatic scheduling, detailed logging, and support for multiple servers. An optional, free user-inquiry tool can be installed on network workstations. This is a shareware version (30-day trial). It's free if the network has less than 5 user accounts.
