Air Travel Manager is a user interface to a reservation system accessed via any TCP/IP network, including through corporate firewalls (proxy servers). The program acts as your agent in executing many reservation system commands and processing dozens of reservation system screens. Flights and fares for your entire trip are presented together on a single screen. The Low Fare Finder lets you get the lowest price quotes on 200 different date and city combinations at once. Hotel and rental car screens can be opened at the same time to allow simultaneous planning of all accommodations. Flights can be split through intermediate cities and priced on a single screen. Business travelers often save 50 percent or more by checking a few intermediate cities in just a few minutes. New ticketing options let you immediately hold a reservation and decide later whether to purchase tickets. E-tickets can be processed in minutes, and reservations can be queued to any of 30,000 Sabre travel agents, allowing you to separate business and personal travel. Air Travel Manager is available free with a limited feature set: no reservations can be made for cars or hotels, and queries are limited to six items returned. Your computer must set up an account in U.S. dollars or use a decimal currency system. This program becomes fully operational with a $59 registration fee. This newest version replaces version 2 as the easySABRE reservation system used by AirTM for the past six years has shut down entirely since 6/15/1999.
