BackupGenie is a small and FREE utility project (122 KB with installer) that can save you life. It can be easily configured to do many backup tasks of directories with recursivity or not. The backup format is a standard Zip file that can be unpacked by winzip, Pkware's pkunzip, or many other else software. You can choose the frequency of backups and the file filtering. The user can select the time of day that the backup is performed, and can activate options that send via email (SMTP) or to an FTP server the backup file. The user can decide to launch external executable with parameters before and/or after the backup process. Incremental archive naming with counter,date and/or hour and automatic delete oldest file option. Many bugs were fixed. 1.5 version comes with Multilanguage and Remote command of BackupGenie Through WindowMessages (SDK on web site).
