omSocks is a proxy and firewall server for Windows supporting SOCKS 4 and 5, FTP, Telnet, POP3, SMTP, NNTP, ICQ, and IRC applications. It allows a small local network to connect to the Internet via a single dial-up connection and protects your network from Internet hackers. ComSocks can share your Internet connection with client computers. Version 3.08a offers full support for Windows ME, as well as support for Netmeeting and VPN connections using the PPTP and IPSec (IKE and ESP) protocols. Optimization of code means ComSocks now runs faster than ever. ComSocks still supports transparent NAT connection sharing, port mapping, connection logging, and a wide range of daemons including: HTTP, Email, SOCKS 4/5, DNS, DHCP, FTP, Telnet, and RealAudio. It also supports Dial On Demand, as well as remote control of the connection from client computer.
