PopWatcher is a small utility that will run in your system tray and check your email accounts on a regular basis. When new emails arrive you are notified by the tray icon showing you the count of new emails along with a sound being played. There is also a preview listing of new mail so you can quickly delete spam before it gets to your mail reader. PopWatcher can be configured to launch your mail client by double clicking the tray icon. This allows you to not have to run your mail client except when you really want to read mail.
