"Ciao is an open platform MS Windows based restaurant point of sale system. This program is a fully functional demo copy of the software. It includes the ability to create menus, make sales, add and configure employees and jobs, schedule employees, generate numerous reports, integrate with a credit card processing package which includes robust preauthorization, multiple currencies, and many many more features. The included manual contains in-depth information on the capabilities of the program. Maximum TESTED throughput capacity is 9500 checks in 2.5 hours on 18 terminals on a 100mhz ethernet system with less than 2% degradation in transaction speed.
