This Excel workbook has been designed to assist you in scheduling your employees. It calculates shift hours, totals for day, week, per employee and total schedule, also giving indicators for overtime and on-call shifts. It creates coverage totals and prints a Daily Coverage Matrix to let you zone your employees. If you fill in information regarding projected sales and average dollar compensation, it projects your payroll percentage. You can also compare how the store is doing in relation to last year. There is a printable form for quick meetings and a listing for employee availability. Within limits, the scheduling sheet will grow and contract with the number of employees you’re scheduling. This scheduling assistant has been developed in conjunction with Store Managers from a national chain as a quick and easy tool for them to use and control their store's scheduling and payroll needs. A manual is included; it is in Adobe Acrobat and requires the user to have Acrobat Reader, a free program from Adobe.
