Timaeus is a system tray application that monitors the passage of the planetary hours and horoscope angles for use in horary astrology. It is like having an 'astrological weather forecast' for your local area on a continual basis. Timaeus loads a planetary glyph/icon into the system tray showing the planet that has lordship over the current hour and gives the general meaning of that hour. When you hover the mouse over the icon, a popup hint appears showing the current hour lord, time elapsed and time remaining in minutes, and the ascendant and midheaven degrees. When you right click the icon, a popup menu appears showing the main program display options. The main window of the program has 7 notebook tabs: settings tab, alerts tab, current hour tab, schedule tab, meanings tab, and a registration and about tab. The main window supports context sensitive help.
