AskAnything Web is a self-service, question-and-answer software program that allows you to offer your customers and employees an easy way to automatically get answers to their specific questions. It works as follows: 1. A customer types a question into the AskAnything Web that is installed on your servers. 2. A list of related FAQs from the knowledgebase appear allowing the user to browse through them to find the answer to the question. If the user is not satisfied with the answer, he or she can forward the question to a customer-service representative. 3. The customer-service representative will receive an email with a link that takes them to the AskAnything Web interface, and it allows them to enter an answer. This answer becomes part of the knowledgebase for future use, and it is also automatically emailed to the original questioner. 4. If the AskAnything web is integrated with a third-party CRM (customer-relationship management) system such as FrontRange (Goldmine) or SalesLogix, the question becomes a call ticket / activity in the support modules, and the resolution becomes part of the AskAnything knowledge-base.
