What File UnFiller does is simply empty all the files contents from the files in a tree branch, optionally including its subfolders. After that, all the files remain there, but they will be only 1 byte size. This way you can save your directory tree information to a compressed archive file and easily send it by email or save it in a single diskette, since a 1000 files tree branch will be less than 1 Kbyte size. So you will have a convenient image from your directories structure and you can use the Directory Compare application included to manage your original files, organizing them so they can have the same data structure from the tree you generate the image. You can use File UnFiller whenever the file names and distribution among the folders are important, but the file itself (its contents) is not.
