The USB Digital I/O Commander provides a simple yet powerful means of interfacing your computer to the outside world, allowing your PC to set digital outputs and/or read digital inputs. The strength of the Commander is its ability to generate any combination of 5 different notification event(s) when input signal(s) change state. For instance, you can specify an email message is sent to a designated recipient when bit #12, changes to a HIGH state. You could also indicate that a pop-up message appear on the monitor and/or a sound (wav) file is played. You'll find this application an important tool for use in a variety of applications including industrial process control, robotics, and hobby use.
