On the Windows XP welcome screen you can get a count of your unread email. This works great for Outlook Express and Hotmail and other mail readers but what about Outlook? Now you can have Outlook email on your welcome screen as well. Set this application to check your mail as often as you like and the count will be updated on the Windows welcome screen. This application works with both Outlook 2000 and Outlook XP.
