MailControl is a personal e-mail firewall. It constantly monitors what is being sent from your computer to the network, preventing unauthorized applications from sending emails on your behalf. Whenever an application attempts to send an email, MailControl pops up with a warning message, asking you how to proceed. You can then block the email, allow it, or create a rule to ensure that future attempts are processed automatically. The program's system tray icon provides a handy menu that enables you to configure the application or modify the rules that designate which programs on your computer are allowed to access the Internet.
