PostCryptum is a parallel mailer that uses your default e-mail client. Unlike other encryption softwares, PostCryptum doesn't require you to have a digital ID provided by companies such as Verisign. You may use PostCryptum as soon as it's installed on your computer and you'll see it has never been as easy to secure your e-mails. PostCryptum uses a strong algorithm and an encryption pass phrase. Select files and they will be encrypted and sent as attached files. You recipient needs to know your pass phrase to decrypt the files you've sent him (and to have PostCryptum installed on his computer). Our secret : PostCryptum has two e-mail bodies, an encrypted body and a non-encrypted body, so that you may let your recipients guess the pass phrase to unlock the files attached. For example, in the non-encrypted body, you could write What's my favourite meal ? so that only your recipient knows the answer. You can elaborate more sophisticated riddles or charades that will make the whole thing very funny and / or hard to find.
