CoolTick is a free, unobtrusive, and intuitive scrolling stock ticker. It has a right-click menu loaded with options, including a link to online help. You can enter your own list of stock symbols to watch price, change, high, low, and so on. Clicking the scrolling symbol takes you to a Web site with detailed quote information. The program uses very little system resources or desktop real estate. Version 7.1 adds portfolio management features and a "Cool Portfolio" page. It has many customizable options in the right menu: size, speed, colors, symbols, data format, etc. Trial is limited to two symbols, full version allows unlimited symbols.
