Mvelopes Personal is a computerized version of the traditional envelope budgeting method. It includes software for your PC, software for your Palm OS handheld, and Mvelopes Online Service. The software allows you to set up a spending plan with unlimited spending categories or envelopes, and to automatically retrieve all your transactions from all your online banking and credit card accounts, and assign them to any one of these spending envelopes. The transaction amount is automatically subtracted from the balance of that envelope to give you an accurate, up-to-date balance. You can also synchronize your data with any Palm OS handheld. Mvelopes means mobile envelopes. Once synchronized, you can take your spending plan with you wherever you go. Mvelopes Personal uses the Mvelopes Online Service in order to retrieve all your transactions and account information. This service is included in the trial. It also includes a full-featured bill pay service, which allows up to 20 payments per month. The bill pay service is also included in the trial.
