AD i/x is a tool for Microsoft(R) Active Directory(R) bulk import/export. You can import/export AD-Objects like users, groups, ... from/in a text-file.Feature Overview: Export Wizard: The Export Wizard helps you to select the objects you want to export via SQL- or LDAP-query. You can save these queries for later use. Further select the attributes you want to export. Import Wizard: The Import Wizard helps you to import AD-Objects from a text-based file. You can automatically create new objects or simply update existing objects. Batch-Mode: AD i/x supports batch-mode. This feature is useful for scheduled import-/export-operations. You can customize the batch-mode environment via batch-parameter files. Attribute Files: You can maintain attributes for export operations in attribute files. Only attributes in these files will be exported. Filter Files: Filter Files are used for export operations. Save your queries in filter files for later use. Object File: An Object-Files is used for import operations to create new objects. They contain object-definitions like mandatory attributes. Define what attributes are mandatory for your AD-objects. Batch-Parameter Files: Customize your AD i/x batch-environment. Each AD i/x batch-environment can have its own definitions like import-/export file, filter file, attribute-file, etc.
