Quikcode is a procedural language that's similar to the Quikjob language on the IBM mainframe. It was developed by software consultants who had a need for a quick utility language that can be easily installed and run at any client site. Recent uses of Quikcode include scanning C and COBOL source for a Y2K conversion project; generating flowcharts of batch jobs, capturing trigger and dependency info using CA7 scheduling data as input; and detecting common errors in C source code. In this 30-day trial version, the only included documentation is the readme file. The registered version costs $24.95.
