This ActiveX control provides for the display of text in a box that appears like a text box but has the ability to readjust its font size to help the text fit. When new text is sent to the control, it will display the text and then speak the text verbally, using Microsoft's text-to-speech technology. Properties include background color, font, font color, and speech enable. The download includes a demo VB project, and is a self-extracting installation program. It requires an installed speech engine and a developer application, like Visual Basic, MS Access, or some other development software that can use ActiveX controls. Note: In the unregistered version, when you move the mouse over a control, a pop-up window will appear, showing who wrote the ActiveX control and the price. The cost to register is $25.
