3DText (formerly NGLText) is an ActiveX component that allows you to display 3D, multiline text. The generated text and background can be filled with color or one of three types of image textures. Backgrounds can also be tiled, stretched, and centered. The control supports JPEG, GIF, Targa, bitmap, TIFF, and Windows Metafile formats. This control features Virtual Track Ball technology, which allows the user to control the viewpoint on the screen easily by simply dragging the mouse on the control. It also contains a lightning editor with up to eight light sources, and material properties for the pies and the texts specifying the ambient, diffuse, and specular reflections of the surfaces. This app supports 48 types of patterns and animated textures, and allows you to map any AVI file as a texture and specify the play speed. Version 5.0 includes export to PNG, better ASP integration, Clipboard support, and enhanced visual effects. Note: This program displays the words demo version in the control window until you pay the registration fee of $39.
