EditeurX is an ActiveX-enabled text editor that features customizable syntax highlighting (see screenshot). EditeurX supports HTML, ASP, VB, C++, INI, and BAT, and lets you add other syntax forms as well. Other features include support for DOS, Mac OS, and Unix text files; splitter windows; word wrap; drag-and-drop editing; line column and rectangle blocking; a clipboard; indent/unindent options; bookmarks; search and replace; sort; and tab size conversion. Note: This download is intended only for developers who wish to get the minimum number of files required for redistribution of the Editeur ActiveX control; please see the link at right for the regular distribution of Editeur. This shareware version prompts you to register with nag screens. Registration costs $280.
