SimpleRegistry 3.0 was completely rewritten in C++ (ATL) to solve the limitations of previous versions. The control's size is only 100KB and it has no third-party dependencies. That means it will work in any development environment that supports ActiveX/COM (VB, Delphi, ASP, and so on). In addition, the new version was implemented as a COM DLL (rather than an OCX) so you can use it with or without forms. New properties in version 3.0 include AccessRights, which allows you to specify the default access rights used when performing a Registry operation (for example, opening, creating, or deleting a key). There are three access modes available: Read Only, Write Only, and Full Access (Read and Write). SubKeyExists allows you to determine if a sub-key exists.
