DotPad is handwriting recognition software. It's an ActiveX that can be used as a software keyboard in any development tool that can carry ActiveX. The user can draw letters using any type of pointing device such as a mouse, trackpad, trackball, touch screen, or a tablet. The handwritten characters are normalized using a statistical method so that any pattern or size for a single letter can be used. All the features are present in this version, but the result characters appearing on the control can't be caught by the host program. The cost to register is $400.
