"The 68000 Visual Simulator is a program to let the user run 68000 Assembly language programs written and assembled with the 68000 Integrated Development Environment in an intuitive, visual way. The main window is partitioned in three sub-windows; the CPU window in which the current state of CPU is displayed; the Memory window wherein memory contents are shown; and the Program window where the next instruction to be executed is shown. Optionally a fourth window, the I/O window, can be activated. This window handles user-interactions that a program may initiate by means of certain system calls. The simulator has (virtual) I/O devices such as switches, LEDs, and 7-segment displays, and can handle interrupts."
