The 68000 Integrated Development Environment is a program that integrates the process of editing, assembling, and/or compiling Assembly, C, or Pascal programs written for the 68000 microcomputer and running on a built-in simulator or on an external 68000 microcomputer board connected to the PC through a serial port. Its main purpose is to provide hands-on experience with low-level (assembly) programming for the 68000 and the relationship between C or Pascal programming and computer architecture. Programs can also run on the 68000 Visual Simulator which can be called from within the 68000 IDE.
