For adding low-bitrate voice streaming to your Web site. Java applet downloads the compressed voice with bitrate 4800bps, decompress and playback it in real-time. User may add button to Web site for starting of voice streaming. For voice streaming 7 kbps modem is enough. Applet has size 19K and low complexity. The demo version has limitation of duration of sounding - 30 sec. Applet provides voice streaming without needing either a plug-in in the browser or an audio server at the other end. No need for a time-consuming plug-in nor the hassle of installing and RE-installing it (and all the other plug-ins) everytime you upgrade your browser. All Java-enabled browsers should be able to handle it.
