"Text summary and Extraction Software. Using sophisticated statistical and linguistic algorithms, the Extractor component identifies the key concepts contained within any plain text, RTF, or HTML document and extracts and ranks the most relevant sentences, resulting in a summary that is a shorter, condensed version of the original text. Summarize documents of any length, on any subject in one of 6 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Korean) to create a summary. Developed by the National Research Council of Canada as a way to help shorten the amount of documents one must review when researching various subjects. Stop Words and Go Phrases can be assigned to the extraction to help customize the summary for your type of business. Written in standard ANSI C, the DLL can be compiled down for Windows, Linux, and Unix."
