JavaAnalyzer consists of four tools (JavaStructure, JavaDiagrammer, JavaDocGen, and JavaSQA) that perform static analysis of a Java program. Its functionality includes the generation of the class inheritance chart; the method call graph to show the program structure graphically; and the generation of the procedural logic diagram to make the code easy to understand and inspect. It can generate more than 100 kinds of reports documenting the program based on the analysis of class, method, package, interface, constructor, field, overloaded methods, complexity, class relationship, and code compactness. In addition, JavaAnalyzer offers Kiviat diagrams to show the result of the quality measurements using object-oriented metrics such as lines of code per class, number of method users per class, weighted methods per class in multiple complexity metrics, and more.
