"dgFileUpload is an in process ActiveX server component that exposes the full scope of input elements in HTML forms. It provides the user the ability to parse standard GET and POST submissions and upload files of any type (binary, text, gif, jpg, movies, MP3, UNIX, Macintosh, LINUX, etc). Files can be saved to any local or network location, with any name, or inserted directly into a database. Many characteristics of files are also exposed, including the size, original name, pathname on the clientĘs computer, and the MIME file type as listed in the POST header. dgFileUpload emulates the behavior of the Request object by providing a TotalBytes property and Form collection, providing all the functionality of the originals. Also, the size of the uploaded files may be controlled through the use of the MaxFileSize property."
