"C5 DEM Tool is a Digital Elevation Model browser and data export tool. C5 DEM Tool is useful for browsing a collection DEM files via a simple graphical user interface. Simple visualizations of the terrain data and interactive roll-over browsing of elevations and UTM coordinates allow easy exploration of and familiarization with the terrain, as well as the browsing of data attributes such as units of measurement and datum. C5 DEM Tool also allows users familiar with Java to write and include their own export filters, with access to all of the fields contained in the DEM specification. Written in Java, it runs on any machine with a Java 2 JRE."
