"OptiVec contains more than 3000 hand-optimized, assembler-written functions for all floating-point and integer data types. They are one and a half to three times faster (on the average) than compiled source code of the same functionality. The fields that are covered include vectorized forms of all arithmetic operators and math functions of C/C++; statistics; analysis (derivatives, integrals, extrema, interpolation); Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) techniques for efficient convolutions, correlation analyses, spectral filtering, and so on; and curve fitting for a wide range of model functions from simple linear regression to nonlinear models with multiple data sets. Other fields covered include graphical representation of data in Cartesian coordinates; matrix operations such as multiplication, inversion, LU decomposition, singular value decomposition, two-dimensional FFT, and eigenvalues; and complex number math. This program is for Microsoft Visual C++ 5 or 6.
