"OptiVec brings the power of vectorized programming to the PC. The largest portion of nearly every program that processes numerical data consists of loops. Replacing these loops with the hand-optimized, assembler-written vector functions of OptiVec can speed up program execution and greatly enhance numerical accuracy.
