"GlowCode detects memory and resource leaks, finds performance bottlenecks, traces program execution, and finds unexecuted code. GlowCode is a complete performance toolset for Windows programmers, and diagnoses all Win32 EXEs and DLLs developed with Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0, and Visual Basic 6.0. Using GlowCode does not involve any source code or build changes, or tedious, post-build pass. GlowCode's Memory tool provides metrics on the runtime heap and important Win32 resources, as well as a real-time summary of allocations, and an expandable tree view of allocation details including the call stack active during each allocation. GlowCode's Profile tool provides a real-time hierarchical view of program execution; the Report tool provides a real-time file, function, and line summary of program execution; and the Trace tool provides a real-time sequential view of program execution."
