Stylus Studio is an IDE for building XML-based applications. It provides an easy-to-use interface for managing and operating on the various files in an XML application. You can work with XML documents, XSLT style sheets, DTD and XML schemas, and Java files. The project management feature helps you keep track of all related files. The XML Editor has full XPath query support with back-mapping capability. Stylus Studio allows you to create dynamic HTML files and map elements in one XML schema to elements in another XML schema. At any time, you can preview the results of applying a particular style sheet and you can maintain and compare multiple different result files. You can also debug your style sheets and your Java code that handles the XML files. You can also reuse XML templates across XSLT style sheeets. Files can be manipulated on the local file system, on any WebDAV compliant server, any FTP server, or any of eXcelon's XML infrastructure solutions, including the portal server and B2B integration server.New features in version 4.0 include an XML Schema Diagram, the Xalan-J Back-Mapping debugger, and the ability to preview transformation results.
