MobileVB is a mobile application development system for writing applications that run on the majority of handheld, mobile, and wireless devices. The system integrates with Visual Basic 6.0 and supports the following device OSes: Palm OS (Palm, Handspring, Sony, IBM, Kyocera, HandEra, Samsung, Symbol), Pocket PC (iPaq, Jornada, Casio, NEC, Symbol, Toshiba), and Symbian OS (Nokia Communicator 9210/9290). Features include basic controls; Up Down (a scroll bar with only arrows and no bar); movie (plays movies converted from AVI); time and date pickers; bar code scanner; signature capture; and wireless Internet. There's also a game SDK and socket based TCP/IP support and alarm, which wakes up the device and notifies the user when an event occurs.
