"Server Guard is an Internet host monitor program. It can monitor one or all pre-defined host's TCP service or port at anytime or at regular intervals and takes pre-defined actions if a service or port does not respond. It can provide a visual and sound alarm, send an e-mail message to a mailbox, execute external programs to notify you. It can also write a log-file entry for every test.
