"SocketMaster provides the capability to open a "socket"; between any Windows-based PC with internet connectivity and the vast plains of the Internet. Using the two most popular protocols used to transmit data, SocketMaster can connect to a remote host, or let itself do the hosting on either a TCP or UDP protocol socket. Manually interacting with virtually any protocol has never been easier, allowing line-by-line interaction with such protocols as FTP, telnet, and even proprietary protocols like Hotline. Newly added in v1.0fc2b2 (and modified in v1.0) is the ability to mask your own IP address behind a SOCKS proxy server (v4 and v5, read the supplementary 'read me'; to learn what SOCKS features are available in SocketMaster). This version includes bug fixes and minor enhancements."
