"IMport-1to1 is an instant-messaging style email application using ascii text and standard mail-boxes. It offers low-profile one-to-one interaction with a password protected 'scramble' button and encrypted storage of chat records. It has text and file drag-and-drop and a very compact background desktop mode, with the option to have incoming messages read to you. It is designed to complement the features of a Windows XP Tablet PC. If you are handwriting have IMport-1to1 read your words back to you as they are written, and/or have your whole message read back to you before you send it. Use with Microsoft Word if present. Like a phone with a scrambler, you and your 'oppo' need one each for those in-confidence discussions. You will also need an SMTP and POP3 mail-box each. (SAPI 4 is required for speech enabling, free to download from Microsoft). Designed for confidential knowledge transfer where other Instant Messaging technologies cannot be used."
